- Monks and the People' Quality of Life: Aiming
to introduce monks to socially engaged Buddhism so they
can lead and help improving the quality of life of their
communities. Training and seminar are offered to improve
their capacity. Today 31 pagodas implements projects to
improve socioeconomic development of the people around
the pagodas.
- Kindergarten: Aiming to provide pre-education
to children between 3-5 years old, free of charge. Two
kindergartens being implemented with approximate of 200
children per year.
- Children Sponsorship: Aiming to provide access
for poor children that do not have chance to attend and
continue their school. Today 320 children attend primary,
junior, and senior high schools with BFD' scholarships.
- School Construction: Aiming to support the school
buildings in areas where schools are not available. Each
year one or two new schools are built with the support
of generous people from Japan through Asian Children Educational
Fund.
